What to Expect at Your First Visit
Visiting a new healthcare provider can be overwhelming; we understand, which is why we’ve designed a welcoming experience that puts you at ease from the moment you walk through our door.
Before Your Arrival
When you book your first appointment, our system automatically sends you intake paperwork to complete before your visit. We’ll also send a short video of Dr. Scott introducing himself and explaining what to expect during your initial visit—especially helpful for those feeling nervous about chiropractic care for the first time.
Your Initial Appointment: Understanding Your Needs
Your initial consultation typically lasts 30 minutes. During this time, Dr. Scott will focus on understanding what brings you to our office. Are you seeking pain relief? Improved function? Overall wellness? By clarifying your goals, we can better help you achieve them. This appointment includes a comprehensive assessment to understand what’s happening with your body, from your spine outward.
Your Second Visit
At your second visit, Dr. Scott will walk you through the results of your initial exam and outline a care plan that reflects your goals. This may include starting treatment with chiropractic adjustments—using Diversified, Thompson, or instrument-assisted techniques—based on what best suits your needs. He’ll also share simple home exercises or lifestyle tips to support your progress. This appointment lasts about 15-20 minutes and is all about getting started with a care plan tailored to you.
Planning Your Visit
For your convenience, our practice offers flexible scheduling options with chiropractors available Monday through Saturday. Between Dr. Scott and our associate chiropractor, we can usually accommodate same-day or next-day appointments for existing patients, with new patient appointments typically available within the week. We understand life is busy, so we strive to work with your schedule.
